Overland travel includes being in remote locations without cell service or the ability to communicate with civilization. This is problematic in emergency situations, or even just to let people know where you are and that you’re okay. The goTenna Mesh bridges this communications gap by creating a mesh network with other goTennas and pairing with users smartphones to send texts and GPS locations, no service required. The range of each weatherproof unit is between .5 mile and 4 miles depending on the openness of the surrounding area.
